The Urgell Tourism Area is jointly organizing with 15 restaurants the "Gastronomic Route of Urgell", a promotional action in which the restaurants will offer dishes with the almond as the protagonist, this nut that is so native to our rural landscape and one of the most nutritious and beneficial for our body.

Participating restaurants offer dishes as traditional as free-range chicken with almond sauce or veal fricandó, to more sophisticated dishes such as artichoke salad with almond romesco, or refreshing desserts such as nougat ice cream with almonds and ratafia.

This is a guided, theatrical and musical walking tour to discover different places in Torrebesses and monumental spaces. In this visit we will see the village's agricultural areas and dry stone constructions to end at the Bep del Canut Mill. A 19th century construction where we will enjoy a tasting of dried fruit and local products from Torrebesses.

The route will begin at the Dry Stone Interpretation Centre (Plaça de Vileta, 9) with an explanation of the origin and uses of dry stone constructions. In the monumental urban visit we will discover the Romanesque Church of Sant Salvador, the Porxo de Gort, the Casa Gort Palace and noble houses of Torrebesses and the Church that killed the cold. Here we will take the cars to go to the Partida Gironeta from where we will see the Ribot cistern and the Paula vaulted hut. The route will end at the Molí del Bep del Canut with a tasting.
